The results of the context study showed that the Sisaket College of Agriculture and Technology, established more than 80 years ago, had a problem with its quality assurance system and it needed to be improved immediately using external and internal supporting factors. However, the college personnel in all divisions had potential to participate in the development of the quality assessment system using knowledge management. The knowledge management process facilitated the college personnel planning and working together following the steps of: knowledge identification, knowledge creation and acquisition, knowledge organization, knowledge codification and refinement, knowledge access, and knowledge sharing. As a result, the college staff learned about the knowledge management process and they were able to develop the quality assurance system using the participatory process. The research process created knowledge on participatory action research. The quality assessment system of the college was developed and used successfully. The college staff working on the quality assessment system developed their participatory performance skills and they were able to solve the problem of quality assessment in the college. |
